Dias Design Forum

Looking for a place to start a discussion of design and construction questions I’ve started this new site. It has the benefits of WordPress.com behind it. Easy to manage and straightforward to use.

Every post, page, and project has a comment prompt.

The How To section is where you can ask construction questions and find answers based on our shared experience.

Each design has a project. Let me know if you’d like to open a new project.

You may subscribe to the site and even to specific comment threads. You’ll get an e-mail whenever anything is posted.

My work is centered on attending to the intersection of perception and creativity. Complexity cannot be reduced to any given certainty. Learning is Central: Sharing our gifts, Working together, Teaching and learning in reciprocity. Entering into shared Inquiry, Maintaining these practices as a way of life. Let’s work together to build practices, strengthen dialogue, and discover and develop community. Let me know how we might work together.

  1. I’ll bite!

I would like to see a discussion on the appropriate form and amount and distribution of flotation or buoyancy for small recreational boats – dinghies and such.

    Some designers show none (!)

Internet forum discussions seem to favor ‘too much” in my (not so) humble opinion.

The best way to stay connected is to subscribe. Enter your e-mail address in the Subscribe widget. There’s one in the sidebar on the right and another at the bottom left of every screen.

Your address will not be sold or given away, promise!
